PRODUCTION FOR SCREEN, MAY 2024 @ UWTSD

Poison Dolls, Brixton 1982

This production was designed specifically for the screen, where as a production team of 11, we collaboratively developed a narrative centred on punk-ska music and the rebellious journey of a four-member, all-female squatter band in Brixton.

Set in an urban Victorian house in Brixton in June 1982, the location, portrayed as a rundown space, vividly captured the raw spirit and defiant energy of its inhabitants.

Art Director, Production for screen

I worked as the Art Director, guiding the aesthetic direction from early sketches to the finished design. I focused on selecting key elements—like the bath, sink, and mirror—to support the overall narrative, and I used my experience in props and sourcing to create an authentic atmosphere while keeping a close eye on details and the budget.
