Exploring Uncertainty Through Visual Storytelling

For our production module, we were tasked with selecting a song and creating a two-minute video in response, which we then presented to the class.  I chose Say Something by Justin Timberlake because, at the time, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to express—the lyrics resonated with that uncertainty.

To bring my vision to life, I used QLab and sourced stock footage from Adobe. The process was long and tedious, as I worked to align the visuals exactly how I envisioned them within QLab. However, I persevered, and this outcome reflects that effort.

The video represents my personal journey—people know I’m at university, studying to become something, though I don’t yet know what that is. Through the imagery, I aimed to capture my uncertainty, particularly in relation to technology, mirroring my own exploration and learning process.
